Oatmeal Pancake Recipe
Our oatmeal pancake recipe is not recommended if you're currently on a strict
weight loss diet, but once you reach your goal weight, you can certainly enjoy pancakes once
in a while for Sunday brunch.
This oatmeal pancake recipe makes use of the principles of
Food Substitution.
Almost any recipe can be transformed into a healthy choice if you replace all unhealthy ingredients
with their more nutritious equivalents. If you have a favorite recipe that you wish to convert, our

Randy's Oatmeal Pancake Recipe
Ingredients:
½ cup flour (wholewheat)
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
½ cups steel-cut rolled oats
1 egg (beaten)
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp molasses, raw sugar or Splenda
¾ cup milk
¾ cup water
Directions:
1. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Mix the wet ingredients in a small bowl.
3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir.
4. Heat a fry pan, coat with spray oil and cook.
Options:
Add a cup of blueberries or a sliced banana to the mix.
Toppings:
Raw honey, maple syrup, sliced bananas
